Scandinavian Festival Wife Carrying Contest Event Description
Contestants must be 18 years of age or more in order to compete. Registration is open for all as long as the person being carried is at least 108 pounds. If they are not, backpacks with rocks must be worn until they meet the weight requirement. Helmets are recommended for the person being carried. This will take place in the Green Space just west of the Snow College football field at 3:00 PM on Saturday. Registration is FREE and waivers will be signed on site before the competition begins. T Shirts are optional and can be bought day of.
