The vendors and the ability to shoot gun was fun as always. It was a little disappointing to not have the same level of activities for kids like they did last year. Even the small amount of effort they made last year, (rock climbing wall, balloon guy and water gun i think) made a big difference.
My wife and I love shooting events. There are so many awesome guns to see and shoot. Even if you don’t spend the money on some of the more expensive shooting experiences, it’s still awesome to watch others do them. The little show/ceremony around lunch time was also really cool to see. Our little 1 year old accompanied us as well. We put her in glasses and ear muffs and pushed her around in the stroller. Not ideal but it worked. Get there early for good parking!
We love going to Shootah every year! It has been a game. Handed did our family. It helped my wife want to get into guns more which I will forever be grateful for!
This was such a great time! So many experiences that you can’t get so easily. Shooting full auto, 20mm and all kinds of other fun guns. It has amazing booths with great people. I would advise anyone who shoots or is thinking about it check it out.
We had the best time last year in Springville. It was fantastic and the food was outrageously delicious! I truly hope you all do it in Springville again!
I had heard about Shootah after recently moving from Florida to Vegas, so I thought road trip and shooting?!? F*ck yeah! There were so many awesome guns to shoot, including a 20mm AND a M134!!! Everyone was so nice and the event was so well put together! Hats off to Jason and his team! So excited to go back next month!!!
I absolutely loved the Shootah event from last year! I loved all the demos that you could participate in and the VIP swag bag was dope as hell too! I highly recommend going if you can!!
This is easily the best put together shooting event in the Western US. It is organized in a way that you can cruise through the booths very quickly, or spend hours at the range and browsing each vendor. It will be a yearly ritual for as long as they keep it going for my family and friends.
Shootah was one of the most fun things I did all summer. I huge venue full of cool stuff and people who all love guns as much or more than I do? What us not to love? If you want to meet people who are friendly and share your interests, this is the place to go. Especially if you want to learn about and support local businesses. They are all there waiting to talk your ear off. 😆 Anyway, point is, Shootah is awesome and you should give it a try.
Love this event! Cannot wait to go back!
I've gone to Shootah for 3 years, and it has been the best experience every year I've ever been to. Better than an ac/dc concert with groups of friends. Family friendly, brought my kids all 3 times. Truly amazing information and networking, and the experience is incredible. You will waiy all year like a kid waits for Christmas for it to roll back around. Cant wait for the after dark party with Agm.
This has been a great experience for my son and I. We have attended at least 4 times. Each time it get better and more fun. It is worth it just to see my son's face light up when he shoots something awesome for the first time. The vendors are always great to talk with him and make sure he knows he is the future. As a pre-teen/teen that makes all the difference.
This is by far the best way to try out suppressors and talk with manufactures.
This is like going to a festival for guns. Literally all it is is vendors advertising themselves. Usually vendors pay to be there and entry would be free. The entry fee is confusing to me. 75% of the vendors were uninteresting. Our friend who went last year said the attendance looked worse, way less vendors and freebies. He said he wouldn't be returning for a 3rd year. I would only go back if it was free. I did get to shoot a few silenced guns, which was the only somewhat saving grace.
It’s impressive how this event just keeps getting bigger and better every year. This is one of the only firearms industry events in utah that you can bring the whole family to and they will have a good time. Looking forward to many more years attending Shootah.
Took my daughter and a friend last years and we had an amazing time. Lots to see and do. My 17 year old daughter even go to shoot a .50 cal

This great I would recommend to everyone
My co-worker and I had a blast at the event today. We traveled out from the east coast for work in the area and found this gem of an event. As a first timers we found the event filled with great people and awesome live-fire toys to play with. Nothing but smiles all day with everyone. Much appreciated, thank you event hosts and we will see you on the next one!!
TLDR: VIP tickets did not seem worth it, Regular pass is the way to go. The event itself was fantastic, if you got the vip this year while they did replace the swag that apparently did not make it in time 2 of the items were range glasses and a voucher for sunglasses. as a prescription glasses bound person these hold no value to me. Now the biggest minus to VIP is they were supposed to be able to get in 1 hour before the regular attendees but during that 1hour in advance all ticket holders were being let in. One would have thought if they were advertising the swag in a bag of over $350 value they would have the merch on hand just like most conventions do (this is literally the same mistake Bethesda did with fallout 77. Learn from others!). That being said the event itself is amazing!!! You get to fire guns that even those enlisted in the army get a chance to use. Truly a once in a lifetime experience that Shootah makes possible.
