Vendors and exhibits set up in the city park on Saturday. You will see an outstanding array of artistic talents that promises to be our largest craft fair in our history! Enjoy the many food vendors and commercial exhibitors set up in and around the City Park and nearby streets. We welcome you to our Annual Reardan Mule Days celebration. Our event is one day only – the first Saturday in June. Vendors and exhibits are in the city park and surrounding streets where you will have more room for your booths and more aisle space for those attending. All food vendors will be located for customer easy access to the delicious food you serve! Please read the rules and regulations below.
Registration
Registration may be done using the online form and online payment or using the printed form and mailing the form in along with your payment. Mailing and payment information are on the registration form.
Types of Vendors
Most arts and crafts are accepted. It is the policy of the organizing committee, however, to limit the number of booths devoted to a particular craft. When submitting this contract it is necessary to list the products you plan to exhibit to avoid any conflicts. The number of exhibits may be limited as well at the discretion of the committee.
Booth Fees
The single exhibitor booth fee is $45. Additional booths are $40 each. The Commercial and Food vendors booth fee is $75. The fees for mailed applications are due when the form is mailed, no later than May 22nd. The fees for online applications are due when the form is submitted and you must present a copy of your paid receipt before you will be allowed to set up your booth. Booth assignment is on first come basis. Fees are non-refundable. The event will be held rain or shine. Booths measure 10′ x 10′. You are responsible for any tables, chairs, tents, awnings or decorations needed for your booth.
Booth Location
All vendor and exhibit booths will be located in or surrounding the Reardan City Park. All booths are outside and will be either on the grass in the Reardan City Park OR on the streets located around the City Park. Tents or awnings recommended with tie-downs. The committee reserves the right to determine booth locations to avoid similar products or services from being next to each other and to reduce conflicting crowd lines.
Event Hours
Your booth must be ready and open for business immediately following the adult parade on the Saturday of Mule Days. (Approximately 11:00 am) Your booth should be open at 10 am. Booths are to remain open on Saturday until 6:00 pm or later depending on the crowd unless approved by the committee chairman. The parade starts setup at 8 a.m. and people will be in town and around the park. It is recommended that you do not leave your booth unattended. Booth holders who close early may not be invited back.
Electrical Service
Electricity is available on a limited basis to FOOD VENDORS ONLY. We try to accommodate power needs for anyone who needs it, however it is on a first come, first serve basis. There is a $10 fee for 110 volt service.
Set up Time
You may begin booth set up after 2:00 pm on Friday before Mule Days and after 6:00 am on Saturday of Mule Days. Unloading of vehicles or trailers must conclude and be removed not later than 9:00 am Saturday. Vendors will be allowed to drive up to their booths to unload only and must remove vehicles immediately upon unloading. Vehicles left unattended may be towed. Booths should be open following the parade that begins at 10:00 am.
Parking
All vehicles must be removed from the exhibit area by 9 am on Saturday. A special “Exhibitor” Parking Pass will be given to you on set-up day for Exhibitor Parking on the South and West sides of the city park.
Insurance
The committee recommends all exhibitors carry their own insurance although it is not required to exhibit. Normal homeowner coverage may be adequate in most cases, however, you should check with your personal agent to be sure of coverage. Proof of insurance is required to be a Food Vendor during Reardan Mule Days. Also, the Lincoln County Health Department (509-725-2501) requires all food vendors to have a food permit. The Reardan Mule Days Committee is not liable for any loss or damage to exhibitor booth(s) and/or merchandise by individuals or the weather. Do not leave your booths unattended. Contact the chairman if you have any questions.
Tax & Licenses
All vendors must abide by the laws of the State of Washington and are liable to collect and pay any applicable taxes to the State of Washington as required by law. No city vendor license is required.
Security
Security guards will patrol the event.
